Get to know me

A little insight into myself and my experience. I have worked in the Beauty Industry since 1989 and have gained a wealth of experience along the way. My first introduction to wanting to go down the route as a Beauty Therapist was from my mum who had her own Beauty Salon in Cape Town. I used to help out on reception when I was still at school, but the turning point was when I was 16 and gave my best friend a facial. Of course I didn’t know how to do it, as I had no training, but I loved it and so did my friend. It was the natural next step to start my training at Stellenbosch Academy, South Africa when I was 18 years old. Making positive changes to people’s skin not only makes them feel better about themselves, but in turn boosts their confidence. I have also recently obtained my internal qualification for Life Coaching from the IAPC&M.
